What the rescue says about me

Shadow is a 3 year old male black and tan short coat German Shepherd who is neutered, microchipped and vaccinations are due November 2021

Home I am looking for

Shadow is looking for a confident owner who can help manage his reactivity towards other dogs while on lead. He is good with people and children.

Me and other pets

Shadow has attended doggy day care without any problems but when he is out walking on a lead he is reactive to other dogs. Owner has been working with a behaviorist on this issue. Unknown how he would be with cats so he will not be rehomed with them.

What I don't like

Shadow has previously had a reaction to worming treatment which was treated by an anti nausea tablet.

Things you need to know

When visitors come to the house he will bark and once visitors are in he is very friendly and excitable towards them and will jump up and mouth slightly but does settle when told.
Travelling in the car he travels in a crate which is covered over otherwise he would bark at every dog he passes.
At present Shadow is fed on a raw diet. He is housetrained and knows his basic commands. Shadow is ok to be left on his own for a few hours. He does not react to loud noises.
He loves playing in the garden with his favourite toy which is a squeaky pineapple.

Currently in Preston, Lancashire.
